TWU Local 555 Station Rep of the Quarter Nominations
It is now time to submit your nominations for TWU Local 555 Station Representative of the Quarter for the 1st quarter of 2023. Please use the below form if you feel one of your local Station Representatives has gone above and beyond his or her normal duties, and exemplified the dedication that is truly worthy of recognition. The winner will be selected by the LEB and will also receive a plaque commemorating this accomplishment. We all know that our local Station Reps work very hard to protect the CBA and are not thanked enough for the work that they do, so please join us in recognizing worthy Station Representatives. The nomination period will end on April 18th at 3pm CST.
Chubb Notification Letters
Here is a message from Fidelity, regarding the Chubb Supplemental Insurance and Missed Deduction letters:
During the recent change from Colonial Life to Chubb for your supplemental benefits, we made some modifications to help Members that missed an attempted deduction for their policies to be notified timelier, now every 30 days, instead of 90 days.
We did this because we feel that 1 month of premium is easier to make up than 3 months of premium at one time and it would be in the Member’s best interest to have more timely notifications.
Sometimes only partial deductions are taken for your supplemental insurance due to the limitations in your paycheck. Southwest will not let the insurance carrier or third-party billing company take out back premiums owed from your checks.
Letters will be mailed monthly to notify you of a missed deduction. This does not mean that your policy will immediately lapse. Your policy or policies will only lapse if you are more than 90 days late paying your premium.
If you receive one of these letters, you will be provided an address to mail the missed premiums to as well as a number to contact Chubb for the exact balance.
